Count on Borys to Stand Up for Our Community
For seven years, Borys Wzresnewzskyj served our community as your Member of Parliament with integrity and commitment to public service.
Borys continues to fight for our community. Last year, many voters – including many of us – were targeted by bad actors who derailed our election. Some voters were misled. Some were misdirected. Others voted twice.
The most serious case occurred in Poll 427, located in St. Demetrius Seniors Centre. On election day last year, as reported by the CBC, Elections Canada officials swore evidence describing a Conservative who arrived at the poll and “suddenly started screaming and waving his arms wildly…He was raging in a bullying fashion, which caused confusion, and frightened many voters.” Many seniors, feeling intimidated, went back to their rooms and did not vote.
This injustice, to name a few, made Borys act. Using his own resources, Borys challenged our local results in Superior Court. And won.
But the fight isn’t over. The Conservatives appealed the decision to the Supreme Court. While our community waits for the Supreme Court’s ruling, you can Count on Borys to stand up for your democratic rights.
Join our cause. Get involved. Your vote matters. Count on Borys.
